Spiderman Cake Ideas

If you don’t think you’ll be able to draw an accurate picture of Spiderman using colored icing, you can still make a beautiful cake. For example, try finding a small plastic Spiderman toy. Add it as a topper on a red and blue cake and add some piping for the “web”.

Another idea is to make a tiered cake resembling a building. Make several different layers of cake descending in size and stack them on top of each other. Use colored icing to frost, the pipe some “windows” around the sides. Add a plastic Spiderman toy to the top or side of the building to look as though he was climbing to the top. This cake is always a huge hit at children’s birthday parties and doesn’t require an artist to make.

Another way to make a Spiderman cake is to use a round cake pan. Frost the cake with red icing and use white icing to make two Spiderman-shaped eyes on the top. Then, use black icing to pipe a web pattern across the red icing. This is an easy way to create a Spiderman face cake.
